1. I have done the labyrinth research project with net snippets, an i- search, a noodle bib, and a Babylonian research project.
2. Research means looking for information to find the answer to a question.

entry2- 3/15/07 - Reflection on Webbing Process (due Fri, Mar 16)
1. I think the webbing process helped/did not help me find a topic because:
I found info. about my topics but I sometimes found more information in the books. The books were also easier for me.

1. My topic is Spartan Warriors
2. I chose this topic because I wanted to know more about The Spartans.
3. I already know that the training was hard and the warriors had to be chosen. They also had to learn how to fight and suvive in the harshest conditions by themselves only by the time they were 13 years old.

Fat Question: Who did they defeat and what was their war strategy?

The pre- note taking sheet helped me focus and find information on my topic by giving me ideas for questions and reminding me to keep my questions and notes on the subject. After I thought about all of my questions it was easy to find my fat question. Teacher Response March 20 - Where is the list of your skinny questions? I don't know who you are talking about. 19/20.

1. I learned more about the Spartan wars while researching.
2. I had a problem finding enough info. about my topic, especially with the limited time and the web sites.
3. I will do advanced searches and try more websites in the future to overcome this.
4. I will try to create a report with all of my notes later on in class. Teacher Response March 21 - Don't forget to use databases. 10/10. Teacher Response March 22 - where is your wiki entry number 7? 0/10.

1. I learne alot about most of my skinny questions from the book.
2. I didn't really have any problems. I got alot of book notes.
3. I need to do the noodle bib.
4. I will finish my noodle bib and work on databases.

2. I had trouble getting enough info. for my graphic organizer.
3. I will do more research every time I get the chance to overcome this problem.
